Roles and Operators

Manage who can access the Dashboard and what they can view or do.

Roles

A role is a category that groups different permissions within the Dashboard.

With roles, you can grant or restrict access to specific sections or features for individuals or teams.

For example, a role could be “CX Operator,” and you can assign all the permissions needed for that person to perform their tasks. This is a security and control measure we provide so you can create as many roles as needed.

Create a new role

If you have the "Create, edit, and delete roles" permission, you’ll be able to create new roles easily by defining a name and description for the role. Then, select all the permissions you want to assign for each section.

Edit a role

If you have the "Create, edit, and delete roles" permission, you’ll be able to edit the roles configured in the Dashboard. You can modify everything from the name and description to the permissions assigned.

Delete a role

If you have the "Create, edit, and delete roles" permission, you can delete roles.

Keep in mind that once deleted, roles cannot be recovered. Users who had that role assigned will lose access and visibility in the Dashboard until a new role is assigned.

From the Operators section, you can assign a role to each operator you’ve created.

Operators

Operators are your company’s team members who will have access to the Dashboard. Each one will be assigned a specific role that defines which sections they can see and what actions they can perform.

Create an operator

If you have the "Create, edit, and delete operators" permission, you’ll be able to create new operators for the Dashboard.

To create an operator, you’ll need to enter the team member’s email and assign them a role. You can choose from any of the roles you’ve previously configured.

Once the operator is created, we’ll send them an email so they can set their password and 2FA to access the Dashboard.

Edit an operator

If you have the "Create, edit, and delete operators" permission, you can modify the operator’s name, role, and language preference at any time.

Delete an operator

If you have the "Create, edit, and delete operators" permission, you can delete operators. Once deleted, they will lose access to the Dashboard.

Assign a new permission to an operator

To do this, you can either modify the role currently assigned to them by adding the necessary permissions, or create a new role with the desired permissions and assign it to the operator.
