Administration

Introduction

The Administration section is where the Administrator user of the client, or any operator with permissions, can access to create or edit roles or operators.

Roles

A role is a type of operator that groups different permissions of the Dashboard. This way, you can limit or grant access to a specific section or functionality to specific people or teams.

For example, a role could be CX Operator and you can assign all the necessary permissions for them to perform their tasks. It is a security and control measure that we provide for each client to configure as many roles as necessary for their organization. From the Operators section, you can assign a role to each operator you have added.

Operators cannot create a new role with permissions that they themselves do not have assigned. They can only create roles with the same or fewer permissions than the ones assigned to them.

Operators

Once the organization's roles have been created, the Administrator or any operator with sufficient permissions can create new operators.

Operators are Pomelo client's collaborators with access to the Dashboard. Each of them will be assigned a specific role that defines the permissions assigned to them.

Create operator

To create an operator, you need the collaborator's email and define their role. Once created, an email will be automatically sent to them so they can set up their password and 2FA for accessing the Dashboard.

To modify the operator's permissions, you need to replace the role from this section or directly modify the permissions of the assigned role.
